Referral and Support Services
Our laboratory serves as a referral laboratory for Health Centre levels 4, 3, and 2 in the district of Oyam and surrounding areas fostering a collaborative environment aimed at enhancing the diagnostic capabilities and overall healthcare quality in the district.
- We are the central hub for distributing laboratory equipment and resources to these health centers, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet their diagnostic needs.

Hematology
We offer comprehensive hematology services, essential for diagnosing and monitoring blood-related disorders:
- Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- Film Comments: Microscopic examination of blood smears.
- Blood Transfusion Services: Including blood grouping, cross-matching, and transfusion reaction investigations.
Microbiology

- Diagnosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis: Using GeneXpert for detection of tuberculosis.
- Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and Hepatitis B Testing.
- HIV Viral Load and Elimination of Mother to Child Transmission (EMTCT) Testing: For monitoring and preventing mother-to-child transmission.
